Pump Maintenance Engineer

As part of our continued growth in Scotland, we are seeking experienced Pump Maintenance Engineers to join our team.

 

Role Overview:

As a Pump Maintenance Engineer at USP Group, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of pumping systems across various sites within your local region. This role requires a hands-on, proactive engineer who can work independently while maintaining close communication with the wider team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on pump systems.

  • Diagnosing faults and completing corrective works efficiently.

  • Installing, testing, and commissioning pumping equipment where required.

  • Ensuring all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations.

  • Providing clear reports on completed works, defects, and recommendations.

  • Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure high service standards.

  • Using Verisae software on a daily basiac 

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pump Maintenance Engineer or similar role.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

  • Knowledge of various pump systems (e.g. booster sets, sewage, drainage).

  • Relevant technical qualifications or industry certifications preferred.

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently within your local region.

  • Full UK driving licence.
